Grills for the Grillmeister

The Ole Touchdown Club recently received a very generous donation from Dick Byrd, father of current player Brooks Byrd. Two new grills and a freezer will now make their home in the southeast corner of Manitou field. Brian Hanson, Official Tailgate Grillmeister, brought them to the Ole Touchdown Club Tailgate yesterday (shown below). The Tailgate will now be 100% propane.  Meanwhile, we're trying to figure out what to do with the 20 bags of charcoal we have sitting in the shed. Potential Golf Tourney Raffle Item? Right now the grills are scheduled to make their debut on September 11th when the Oles host Simpson.

Hey that's cool. Kudos to Mr. Byrd. We can really use some new equipment down there. The old grills were getting a little nasty and the old freezer was on the blink.
